Lotr Uruk-Hai

I painted these uruk-hai in February I think, but just now got around to posting them. I haven't had much time for painting these last months but hope to get some painting done this weekend.

 I tried speed-painting on these, using a limited palette: metals, skin and just grey highlights on black for the leather. They turned out quite ok , but for the next ones I'll have to try some other color than black for the leather to make them pop.

A quick phone snap of this lotr mini I had in my lead pile. I think I got it with some other bits when pre-ordering Warhammer 7th edition. I stopped playing that same year, but not before buying a box of warriors of Minas Tirith and some uruk-hai.

I'm a bit tempted to start some warbands up for Saga Lotr gaming after seeing some brilliant stuff over at LAF. We'll see about that.
